Greetings bsd heads,
I hate to bother this list with a freebsd question, but its almost identical
to the netbsd equivalent, this is my fav list and I've paid my dues in
opening up my inbox to 100 replies that dont apply to my mission...bear with
me
Okay....I am always getting this error message printing to screen from the
terminal:
Dec 8 00:14:01 cr281793-b /kernel: arp: 192.168.1.2 is on ed0 but got reply
from 00:48:54:81:7b:ac on rl0
This box serves as a gateway for other machines on my network, and set is up
with the following relevant config lines:
/etc/rc.conf
ifconfig_rl0="DHCP"
ifconfig_ed0="inet 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0"
gateway_enable="YES"
ipfilter_enable="YES"
ipfilter_flags=""
ipnat_enable="YES"
/etc/ipf.rules
pass in all
pass out all
/etc/ipnat.rules
map rl0 192.168.1.1/24 -> 0.0.0.0/32 proxy port ftp ftp/tcp
map rl0 192.168.1.1/24
map rl0 192.168.1.1/24 -> 0.0.0.0/32
/etc/sysctl.conf
net.inet.ip.forwarding=1
Does anyone have a clue to what is a probably obvious problem is making me
go insane!! :o)
oh and I also get a 'syntax error 2: map' somthing on the intial
boot.....(how can I 'more' the boot-up screen after kernel
messages(dmesg))!&!#$
thanks!!
peace
pete
