Lennart,

Un-plugged and re-plugged, I get this...

gus# Nov 22 20:00:17 gus /netbsd: uhub0: port error, restarting port 1
Nov 22 20:00:17 gus /netbsd: ugen0: at uhub0 port 1 (addr 2) disconnected
Nov 22 20:00:17 gus /netbsd: ugen0 detached
Nov 22 20:00:21 gus /netbsd: ugen0 at uhub0 port 1
Nov 22 20:00:21 gus /netbsd:
Nov 22 20:00:21 gus /netbsd: ugen0: Prolific Technology Inc. ATAPI-4 Bridge
Controller, rev 1.00/1.00, addr 2

gus#

...I had tried reading DMESG when it booted. But I didn't know enough to pull
