I removed the ifconfig.xi0 and the auto_ifconfig=YES from rc.conf and don't 
see the Xircom anymore

Attached the dmesg output from starting up my machine as there are only two 
lines with pcmcia.

How does it see it ? messages please.
I suspect it's not the kernel, but it's still referenced in some config
file.
