Help! I'm a recent convert from FreeBSD and I have 4 problems:
1)
I've just compiled mozilla-0.9.5nb1 but can't run the program.
Mozilla puts out following error:
bash-2.05$ Shared object "libnspr4.so" not found
libnspr4.so is in /usr/X11R6/lib/mozilla but mozilla keeps on putting
out an error saying it doesn't have it. Anyone having same problem?
2) NetBSD locksup after a while when I start X using xdm from
/etc/rc.conf. I am using GNOME but GNOME freezes after some time has
passed when X was started using xdm. Anyone knows a fix for this?
3) How do I permanently turn the volume down in NetBSD? It's annoying
to hear the beep sounds and loud volume. At the moment, I'm using:
wsconsctl -w bell.pitch=0 to turn off bells
mixerctl -w outputs.master=0,0 to turn down the noise!
I've added these two lines in /etc/rc.d/wscons
How do I deactivate these from very start of the NetBSD boot?
4) How do I listen to regular audio CD's from NetBSD? I am able to play
mp3 files but still have no luck with playing audio CD's!
Thanks
