I've been trying to get my wscons screens to work and I'm beginning to
suspect the Meta or [Alt] key is not working. The keyboard is one of those
ubiquitous "MS Certified" 104-key types which I seem to recall can cause
problems in UNIX-like OSes. Is there a way to test whether the key is
actually working and, if not, what can I do about it ? BTW, I would prefer
not to install emacs just to test this...
