I'm seeing the following error:
fork: Cannot allocate memory
at seemingly random times. It shows up coming from inetd in my logs and
I've also seen it from the command line when trying to execute a command
(ls, man, etc).
Any idea what could cause this? I'm running a 1.5.2-macppc kernel with 512M
of memory. 'top' shows that the machine has ample free memory.
Thanks,
