Hi. here again with some more detailed info.

I have a Quadra 700, 20MB RAM and a fresh NetBSD-mac68k-1.5.2. Apache
1.3.20 and the 1.3.19nb1 (both pre-built binary and self-compiled one)
crash with a .core file. So:

Apache 1.3.20 prebuilt ----------------------- BEGIN
- the "gdb /usr/pkg/sbin/httpd httpd.core" output is:
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.
Reading symbols from /usr/libexec/ld.so...(no debugging symbols
found)...done.
Reading symbols from /usr/lib/libcrypt.so.0.0...(no debugging symbols
found)...done.
Reading symbols from /usr/lib/libc.so.12.76...(no debugging symbols
found)...done.
- the "bt" output is:
#0 0x3d968 in find_fqdn ()
#1 0x3ae54 in remove_unused_name_vhosts ()
#2 0x27f24 in default_listeners ()
#3 0x33708 in main ()
Apache 1.3.20 prebuilt ------------------------- END

Apache 1.3.19nb1 prebuilt -------------------- BEGIN
- the "gdb /usr/pkg/sbin/httpd httpd.core" output is:
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.
Reading symbols from /usr/libexec/ld.so...(no debugging symbols
found)...done.
Reading symbols from /usr/lib/libcrypt.so.0.0...(no debugging symbols
found)...done.
Reading symbols from /usr/lib/libc.so.12.76...(no debugging symbols
found)...done.
- the "bt" output is:
#0 0x3d968 in ap_get_local_host ()
#1 0x3ae54 in ap_fini_vhost_config ()
#2 0x27f24 in ap_read_config ()
#3 0x33708 in main ()
Apache 1.3.19nb1 prebuilt ---------------------- END

Apache 1.3.19nb1 pkgsrc built ---------------- BEGIN
<same values as above>
Apache 1.3.19nb1 pkgsrc built ------------------ END

and now? should I send these to Mr. Apache, or is there something I
could do by myself to let things work?

TIA again, M.

ps- thank for having told me what to do with the ".core" file.
I thought they were absolutely unuseful...
