Well, it's not windows. On unix box you paste with the middle button
of the mouse. All unix boxes (Sun, HP, digital^Wcompaq^WHP, etc ...) are sold 
with 3-button mouses.
On PCs this can be emulated by pressing both buttons at the same time.
