Error message on ttyE0 after lock-up of KDM:

After 2nd re-entry of username and passwd to
graphical login, X crashes, and returns to locked-up
ttyE0. Not even CTRL-ALT-F2 etc will get another tty.
Must press hdwr reset button.

But can see, faintly, this message on ttyE0 after lockup
(there are some other things above, but don't look like
errors):

Error parsing config file: expected identifier on line 1
of /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/X0-config.keyboard
Could not init font path element
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/ removing from list!

waiting for X server to shut d own X connection to :0.0
broken(explicit kill or server shutdown).
xterm: fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) or KillClient on X
server ":0.0"
xterm: fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) or KillClient on X
server ":0.0"

I go to look at the file X0-config.keyboard of the
parsing error with more, and it is binary. Is that right?

Thanks,

Gan
