Mine says:
2. The login name must be allowed based on the information in
ftpusers(5)
Even if there is only one line saying
* allow
in ftpusers it doesn't work. But it works for root!
Another thing is, that ftpd doesn't log to syslog, though inetd gives
it the "-l" switch.
I think, there's some misconfiguration due to the upgrade I made.
Maybe some files from the older version (1.5) were left, or there's a
problem with file access rights.
