I just tried the to install via FTP, and it can't reach the FTP server. I
know this gateway works, as do the name servers, as I am using them now. I
have tried using my DHCP server, and manually configuring the network, and
the same problems still occurs --- it can't resolve the ftp server's name. I
have tried two different gateways, and different name servers, and still the
same problem.

I don't know what else to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone is interested enough to ssh in and look at it, I will be glad to
arrange another machine with which to do so.
