Interesting suggestion, but no - no changes - no bad fan, no surge.

I decided to recompile my Kernel just to be sure. NetBSD made it through
config, make depend, and make several times without a hitch.

I went back to the freebsd_lib package and did make again. Pkgsrc asked me to
rebuild pkgtool (which also bus Err'd out.) I finally got through that, then
re-made freebsd_lib a few times until IT finally got through.

Dunno???
