Are you sure you need pppoe??? I have Verizon DSL here in Coeur d'Alene, ID,
and I'm using NetBSD with no problems.
I just have my NetBSD box connected to my DSL Modem using a 10Base-T
connection, and I'm running IPFilter and IPNAT. Works like a charm!
My understanding was that Verizon didn't support PPP over DSL yet. (From
Verizon Online Tech Support.)
