In http://www.netbsd.org/Hardware/pci.html tehere is text:
Supported PCI devices
...
RAID controllers
I2O RAID controllers: Adaptec, AMI, DPT, Intel, possibly more (iop)
My NetBSD 1.5 GENERIC kernel does not find Adaptec 3200 RAID card
Should it? Isn't it the I2O card mentioned in "Supported PCI devices"
In dmesg is text "Distributed Processing Technology SmartRAID (I2O) (1.0
I2O, interface 0x01, revision 0x02) at pci0 dev 10 function 1 not
configured"
I cannot find the iop driver in kernel source (NetBSD 1.5). Should the
name be dpt not iop? Is this Web page refering to NetBSD 1.5 or
NetBSD-current?
Or what is the problem?
There is no manual page of iop in NetBSD 1.5 nor does config accept
iop* at pci? dev ? function ?
into my kernel config
pahka# config SEPPO
SEPPO:384: iop*: unknown device `iop'
SEPPO:385: iopsp*: unknown device `iopsp'
