Any old modem should work. That's my old laptop (for those who wonder
why I know what works in it), and I have not yet seen a modem that
*didn't* work, except that I had some trouble with the ethernet/modem
combo cards. I was using a BestData 56k modem which was the cheapest
thing I could find at CompUSA one day.
