I'm trying to get a Windows 95 box to communicate with a NetBSD server
via a WaveLAN wireless card. When running NetBSD on both boxes,
everything is great. I cannot get the Windows box to communicate,
though. I'm not sure if the Windows or the NetBSD end is not
configured right.

I have the IP address (10.0.1.1) and the netmask (255.0.0.0) set the
same as for NetBSD. Appropriate routes seem to be there. Pings to
127.0.0.1 and 10.0.1.1 both work. Pings to other hosts always time
out, though.

Windows reports that the WaveLAN is using irq 15 and io ports
0x0180-0x01bf, which is quite different from what NetBSD is using
(0x400-0x43f). Does that difference matter? Also, the Windows
"system resource report" does not report any specific drivers
associated with the WaveLAN, though I went through the installation
process and installed some from disk. Should there be specific
drivers listed?

Any suggestions on how to get this to work are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Brook
