I am trying to install pth-1.3.6 on my NetBSD/i386 box. However,
pkg_add fails with the error message:

Package 'pth-1.3.6' conflicts with 'pth-current-*'

I have not installed a pthread package, nor does pkg_info list a
pthread package as being installed. I cannot find any of the
pthread libraries on my machine, which, again, tells me that it has
not been installed. Can anybody suggest anything else I can check
or tell me where I am going wrong?

This is on NetBSD 1.5, by the way.
