Hello netbsd-help,

I'm not entirely new to Unix but it's been a while, and I ain't exactly a
  guru either. ;)

I just installed v1.5 from the first (install) cdrom, and installed a first
package, Pico, with pkg_add. So far so good, except for the fact that I
couldn't find it at first. I had to look it up because it wouldn't fire up.

To keep it short, I found it at /usr/pkg/bin, it's even in the set path but
it won't fire up from anywhere. I HAVE to type the complete path. Anyone
can tell me why files, manually installed, and present in the PATH will NOT
fire up without first typing the entire path to the file?

It's a bit odd to have to type /usr/pkg/bin/pico everytime when a simple
  'pico' should be sufficient.

  Thx.
