My pkgsrc build didn't have any references to flockfile from lex.o .
I suspect that the out-of-box configuration from ISC is tweaked a bit
by the pkgsrc machinery.

Why not try building out of /usr/pkgsrc ?  Its a lot less work then
reinventing the wheel.
