I don't know the answer to this person's question, but I do understand
the question and perhaps by helping someone else understand it, I can
help him get an answer. So here's the question in English:

I have a USB mouse, a SB Live sound card, an ATI Rage 128 video card,
and a 17-inch screen with max resolution 1280x1024.
This is my question: I'm trying to configure X and I'd like to know
how to do it. I've already tried xf86configuration [sic] and after
trying "startx" or "X" it gives me an error. I don't know how to
proceed.
