I have the very same situation at the moment. My machine is ThinkPad
560 with a NE2000 clone card.

As far as I searched the web about this, some adjustments under
/sys/dev/pcmcia is needed for the card to be configured by the kernel
if the card is not listed in the source, is this right?

My card is _recognized_ by the kernel, which gives some infomation
about it. I'll try to make this card configured. And also need to
create a boot floppy by myself, I guess.
