Hi,

When i activate ipf (default block all) in rc.conf etc etc and i reboot
(of course i could also just ipf -Fa -f ... -E of course)
I see:

/netbsd: arpresolve: can't allocate llinfo

I am using dhcp to obtain an ip address
(of course one could discuss whether it makes any sense to run an ip filter
on a machine inside the network, true, but lets leave that out for now).

When i dont activate ipf in the beginning, i am not getting this message.
So clearly i am blocking some stuff which i shouldnt be blocking.
Strange cause i am getting an ip address assigned, but i am also getting
this message. So not everything is going by /dev/bpf0 concerning dhcp
then?
Any hints how to resolve this?
Bye,

Mipam.
