Hi. Whenever my scsi3 LVD and atapi devices "cross paths"
ugly things happen. This last error was detected when I
wrote an iso image to my RICOH MP7040A burner from my
ahc driven IBM DNES 309170 hdd. Symptom noticed was
X11 locking up momentarily. Below is output from 
/var/log/messages. I was using cdrecord but the same
thing happens when I mount a cdrom disk.
