Hi,

I tried creating a file with dump on the NetBSD 1.4.2 (i386) and copying
it to the Solaris 7 (SPARC) system. The ufsrestore command does not under-
stand the file format. The dump file is 12 GB and some of the data files
are 2 to 4 GB each (the rest are smaller source code files).

Are there switches on NetBSD's dump or Solaris's ufsrestore that can help
bridge the gap?

Should I be using something else, like tar or zip?

Thanks.
