I was wondering, what is the status of support for drives with >512
bytes per sector?  Is this going to be fixed in 1.5?

Also, what is the status of vnode locking in the layered filesystems
(esp. union)?  I still have to manually patch the 1.4.2 kernel to
detect potential deadlock conditions which occur fairly often, and
about every other shutdown I see a message that the system was using
a decomissioned lock.
