Eeh yes, i started using ntop.
Its okay. It sniffs your network traffic and shows statistics how much
traffic took place and can distinquish between protocolls. It can also
show traffic of specific hosts. I am using ntop 1.1, however, i believe
the newer ntop can do more.
One thing, when using ntop in web mode, there seems to be a bug.
I verify tomorrow if it works or not, if it does, it an issue.

If you are looking for http traffic statistics and ftp, then take a look
at webalizer. It can show more information concerning your web traffic.
However, it doesnt work by sniffing, but it works but taking information
from your log from apache for example.
For just messearing your bandwidth usage, mrtg is nice.
Hope it helps.
Bye,

Reinoud.
