Hello. I am a new NetBSD user. I have used several ELF based/capable
Unix systems before, so the following message kinda freaks me out...

[ netbsd ELF symbol table not valid ]

This is the first message I get (in green) right after the boot loader
loads the kernel and starts to boot it. This message is followed by
another about preserving the a.out symbol table, and then the system
boots normally.

The server in question is basically a fresh install of NetBSD-1.4.2/i386
release, the only things I've modified are network settings, added some
users, disabled portmap and some net daemons, and turned on wscons. All
of which I would assume has absolutely no effect on symbol tables.

Is this something to worry about? Is a fix available? Will it go away
if I recompile the kernel or install some ELF packages or what? Thanks
in advance.
