Yes, the source installation did work for me when I did it on another
machine a few months ago, but the binary installation did not work.

Whoops, I did things in the wrong order. First added my self to
games group (for nothing) and after that, when things did not work, checked
the mode for the dir... well it was Saturday morning so I guess
Friday evening is an acceptable excuse.


About fixing things: I try and see what I can do, but this might take
some time...
