Distressingly, I'm told it's one of the nicer Linuxes.

But yeah, I'm on my 4th try trying to get it to install.  Currently, it says
something about decompressing gs_fonts, and it's hung.  If I kill the install,
and manually deselect packages that aren't working, it looks like I can
eventually get it running, but sheesh.
