It is supported. I have several very similarly configured machines at work
with DE205's on twisted-pair under NetBSD 1.3 (great webcam machines). If
it matters, it is the le (DEPCA) lines commented out of the GENERIC
configuration.

(from the machine at work)
# dmesg | grep lc0
lc0 at isa0 port 0x320-0x33f iomem 0xd8000-0xd87ff irq 5: DE205-AB
lc0: address 08:00:2b:bd:d5:61, 128KB RAM, 2KB window

# ifconfig -a
lc0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
        address: 08:00:2b:bd:d5:61
        media: Ethernet autoselect (10baseT)
        status: active
        inet <hidden> netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast <hidden>
lo0: flags=8009<UP,LOOPBACK,MULTICAST> mtu 32976
        inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000

Here's the interesting part:

# ifconfig -m lc0
lc0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
        media: Ethernet autoselect (10baseT)
        status: active
        supported Ethernet media:
                media 10base5
                media 10baseT
                media autoselect
        inet <hidden> netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast <hidden>

No 10base2 option... Argh... Is there a file in the kernel source that can
be modified to add the option? Or perhaps a way to force a media type?

Still many thanks!!
