Despite what the magicfilter manpage may say, I don't think you need
that line...

Change the "sh=true" to just "sh" to get rid of the banner page. I don't
know about the staircasing, but there's probably some magicfilter
configuration you can do for that (I've never used magicfilter and know
nothing about it :)
