I don't understand why they don't just release source.  How long could
it take them to take whatever they have clean it up a bit and release
as source?

Should netbsd be encouraging binary-only distributions?  I only run 2
programs delivered as binaries; netscape and acroread4.  Both of them
are unreliable and prone to crash a distressing fraction of the time.
I don't believe that is a coincidence at all.

And thats before one touches on the trojan question.
