Hmm, not much response on my problem... :-( Experts are probably off for
Christmas.
Anyway, I tried downgrading gcc to 2.95.1, but nothing has changed.
It still SEGVs in the same place.

I will try to turn to the gcc mailing list for this, but I'm still looking
for NetBSD specific information on how to further diagnose the problem.
