If the 2 uses different geometry they won't be able to co-exists.
Maybe using the FreeBSD geometry, and reinstalling the NetBSD boot loader
(cd /usr/mdec && ./installboot biosboot.sym /dev/rwd1a) would work but
I'm not sure (there are issues with partitions alignement too)
