Hmmm.... does that include the JRE?  Maybe it is not too bad to have
developers build from source.

What is needed to do this?   Some money?

I put some thoughts on Java and NetBSD up at http://netbsd.bbin.com/java.html  would love some
feedback.  Maybe if we split up the projects it would be doable?
