Hi,

I'm new to the list so excuse me if this question has been posed before.  

Heres the deal, I just inherited administration duties on a NetBSD
machine.  The kernel in question is a 1.3.2 (i386)  The problem I've been
encountering is that when more than 32 users are logged in the system runs
out of ptty's.  

I recompiled the kernel, bumped MAXUSERS up to 64 and the pty's up to like
128.  This didn't help, so I manually created another 64 /dev/pty* files
with MAKEDEV to no avail.  I have a feeling theres something really basic
I'm over looking, can anyone help?
