Do you have ext2fs compiled in the Kernel?

Subject:	transferring a drive between BSD and Linux...

Hi,

I'm trying to transfer an IDE drive between a Linux box and a NetBSD 1.3
(arm32) system. I have tried all sorts to get bsd to mount the ext2fs
partition, but to no avail.
I started by creating a set of BSD partitions, and then over writing an
unused one under linux, as a MSDOS format.
I then moved the disk back to the BSD machine, and changed the disklabel
so
that the partition was typed as MSDOS and not the original 4.2BSD.
I can't mount the DOS partition though. Is what I'm trying just plain
stupid (!) or is there a proper way to make this work???

Cheers,
Steve.
