I tried upgrading from 1.3.2 to 1.4 yesterday using sysinst. But it failed
after fsck'ing my second last disk. Heres my dmesg output (from 1.3.2)
regarding the disks I have:

sd0 at scsibus0 targ 0 lun 0: <HP, C3724S, 6039> SCSI2 0/direct fixed
sd0: 1149MB, 3703 cyl, 5 head, 127 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 2354660 sectors
sd1 at scsibus0 targ 1 lun 0: <DEC, RZ25 (C) DEC, 0700> SCSI2 0/direct fixed
sd1: 406MB, 1476 cyl, 9 head, 62 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 832527 sectors
sd2 at scsibus0 targ 2 lun 0: <DEC, RZ25 (C) DEC, 0700> SCSI2 0/direct fixed
sd2: 406MB, 1476 cyl, 9 head, 62 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 832527 sectors
sd3 at scsibus0 targ 3 lun 0: <DEC, RZ25 (C) DEC, 0700> SCSI2 0/direct fixed
sd3: 406MB, 1476 cyl, 9 head, 62 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 832527 sectors
cd0 at scsibus0 targ 4 lun 0: <IBM, CDRM00203\\000\\000\\000\\000\\000!J, 1.0m> SCSI2 5/cdrom removable
sd4 at scsibus0 targ 5 lun 0: <SyQuest, EZ135S, 1_13> SCSI2 0/direct removable
sd4: 128MB, 3195 cyl, 1 head, 82 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 262144 sectors

You will notice that I have a few old disks and that sd4 is a removable
135 MB Syquest. First it failed on fsck'ing that. So I turned it off and
rebooted. Then it failed on sd3a. I fsck'ed sd3a manually, nothing wrong
(using the 1.4 boot floppy).

I notice pr 7344 that regards 1.4 ALPHA, but seems to be unclosed. It
seems related to this problem of mine.

Sincerely
Anders
