My DHCP server is a NetBSD/i386 machine (running 1.3.3) with both FDDI and
ethernet ports. I have found that the DHCP server will not hear any
requests from the FDDI port, whether the requests are broadcast on that net
or forwarded from another net. The server is listening on that net, it
just isn't hearing anything.

When the DHCP server starts up, it says:

Internet Software Consortium DHCPD $Name: $

Listening on BPF/de0/00:00:c0:cf:61:0e/128.182.58.0
Sending on BPF/de0/00:00:c0:cf:61:0e/128.182.58.0

Sending on BPF/fpa0/08:00:2b:b2:3a:86/128.182.40.0
Sending on Socket/fallback/fallback-net

Is this a known problem with 1.3.3? I'll try to test this with 1.4 but I
don't have any non-production machines with FDDI cards so it may take a
while.
