Hi:

My ISP recently changed to a new terminal server (an Ascent?) and I
can't get a PPP connection to work correctly.

I think that the connection is in place, and that it sort of works, but
I communicate over the link from the NetBSD box. To simplify matters I've
disabled ipnat (once I get connected I can worry about that).

My options file is:

tty00
57600
connect '/usr/sbin/chat -f /etc/ppp/chat.cow'
asyncmap 0
crtscts
defaultroute
lock
modem
#mru 296
#mtu 296
ipcp-accept-local
vj-max-slots 16
#netmask 255.255.255.255
passive
#name Newman
user Newman
#proxyarp

After a connection is made, the results of "ifconfig -a" is :

de0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
        address: 00:00:c0:ad:d0:f2
	media: Ethernet autoselect (10baseT)
	status: active
	inet 10.1.1.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.1.1.255
lo0: flags=8009<UP,LOOPBACK,MULTICAST> mtu 32976
	inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000
ppp0: flags=8051<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1524
	inet 10.1.1.1 --> 204.171.100.5 netmask 0xffffffff
ppp1: flags=8010<POINTOPOINT,MULTICAST> mtu 1500

(I only care about ppp0).

Any help will be apreciated. Thanks in advance.
