And as folks get more experience with avoiding the reboot, they go
back to rebooting.  There are always too many daemons that run down
the interface list only once when they start up and never notice that
things have changed.

I've long been joking that Unix needs a SIGINTERFACE modeled after
SIGNWINCH.
