Hello,

my computer is running NetBSD Amiga 1.3.0 / 1.3.3.
I recently installed XEmacs20.4 and found, that XEmacs (as the _only_
program) ignores a key:
The "{[" (open brace & bracket) key. (*VERY* important for C-Programmers!)
I think this is because of my german Amiga keyboard. It has that key on
the same place where the "Num Lock" key on a PC keyboard is, ie. on the
upper left corner of the numeric keypad.

I already looked thru all key-bindings in XEmacs, but the key is correctly
inserted as "self-insert-command", so I guess that the keystroke is
filtered out before it reaches the XEmacs key-binding processor.
The key actually gets _ignored_ like the hitting of "Caps Lock" !

It is strange that XEmacs only ignores that key, if it uses its own
window. Started with the "-nw" option, the key is recognized correctly..!?

I already put this question into the port-amiga list, but got no anser
yet.

Please help...

Regards,

Stefan
