I am trying to get my NetBSD machine to answer dial-in connections and
it will not work, despite following all the information in the man pages
for getty, gettytab, and init.

Is there something I need to know about how to get getty to answer
inbound calls? If so, what man pages do I need to look at?

The modem is a USR 2880, it's on tty01 (com2), and works fine dialing
out to a portmaster at my work using pppd with demand.

I killed pppd, turned the tty01 entry in ttys to "on", and HUPped init.
Nothing happened when I dialed into the modem. I thought that getty
would put the modem into auto answer mode.

Please help me.
