I'd be interested in what happens.

I once tried making NetBSD 1.3.2 i386 use a swapfile I had put on a DOS
drive.  The logic was that the machine was a netboot station, I had a 120Meg
DOS drive on the machine, to overcome the performance hit of swapping over
the network, swap to the local drive (Even if it was dos) would be faster.
It worked as long as swapping was minimum, however when swapping became
heavy it would lockup, reboot, seg fault, etc.

I finally just reformatted the drive and put a swap partition on it.
