Huh?  Sorry, this doesn't make too much sense.  Could you explain?

Using the options you used you should only see

1. upper case letters instead of lower case and
2. for ordinary files, you should see a ';' followed by a number

(For the record, you might see several versions of one file which are
otherwise suppressed, but I doubt that).

Are you saying that the CD now shows mixed case?  Filenames with
different lengths?
