1. Dialin

    In /etc/ttys, turn on getty

        tty00   "/usr/libexec/getty std.38400"   unknown on rtscts

   (kill -1 1 to get init to reread /etc/ttys)

2. Dialout

    2.1 Make the following entry in /etc/remote:

        # Hardwired line
        tty00| Direct line on tty00:\
        :dv=/dev/tty00:\
        :du=0:\
        :br#38400:\
        :pa=none:

    2.2. "tip tty00" to connect to modem
