Try reinstalling Win95? I think it checks the disk first and then asks
you if actually want to do anything. (Vague memories from the one time
I tried it)

As to the NetBSD side, how far did you get? bootblocks? disklabel?
What sort of disk ide/scsi (if that matters)?
