Hey folks,

   I have an internal Zoom 56kflex modem that is recognized as com3
   (/dev/tty02).  When I tip to it everything appears to be OK until
   I hit a key, any key, and then tip quits with a report of EOF received
   exiting, or something like that.  Why is this happening?  Any ideas?
