Is the smc-9332bdt 10/100 PCI ethernet card supported?

I thought it was. It Appears to be a normal DEC TULIP based job, with
only an rj-45 on the back. This card didn't work under netbsd-1.2,
back when I first tried it a year ago. Now I'm trying to boot a new
1.3_alpha machine -- soon to be 1.3-current if I can ever get the
ethernet working. ;-) All I get is the following:

de0 at pci0 dev 14 function 0: unable to map device registers

Do I have a bad card? Should this be working?
