This is...not trivial.  Many subscribers can send mail from several
addresses (work, home, on the road, ...) but receive mail only at one.
For instance, I am:

mike.long@analog.com
mikel@netbsd.org
mikel@shore.net

...and I doubt the number of addresses I have is much above the average.
